Sonic Corporation is the largest chain of drive-in restaurants in America. Established in 1953, the Company owns and operates more than 620 stores in the United States with more than 2,419 U.S. franchisees. Sonic recently introduced a new "retro-futuristic" look for its restaurants and is currently engaged in a system-wide retrofit program.

The centerpiece of the new design is the Patio canopy which provides an inviting oasis for outdoor dining.
